Montreal Canadiens rookie forward Jacob De La Rose went under the knife today on his 20th birthday to repair a wounded wrist.
Jacob de la Rose underwent wrist surgery earlier today at Montreal General Hospital. His recovery is expected to be three months.

He is expected to recover fully from the surgical intervention at the Montreal General Hospital in time for training camp in early September. De La Rose gave no indication of any wrist ailment and played a regular shift throughout his injury. De La Rose notched four goals and two assists in 33 games for the Canadiens this season..
The Swede gave no indication of his coming surgery when he tweeted a photo from a cafe yesterday.
