Advanced voting for a Montreal North’s mayoral by-election took place on Sunday.
Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre was on hand to lend support to his candidate, Christine Black.
Kerlande Mibel is the candidate for Projet Montreal while three other candidates are running as independents.
The by-election was called to replace former Mayor Gilles Deguire, who was forced to step down in January. Deguire is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual touching of a minor.
The by-election is scheduled for April 24.
