The Major Crimes Unit of the Sureté du Quebec is attempting to identify and locate a large truck involved in a deadly hit and run that killed a tourist from Mexico.
The hit-and-run occurred in Brossard on Highway 30 around 1 a.m. with the SQ reporting that a tractor-trailer heading east hit a small car from behind.
The impact knocked the smaller car off the road around the 67 KM highway marker.

- The truck does not appear to have an inscription or graphic on its body.
- There were reflectors on the back trailer.
- Police believe the truck is similar in model to a Volvo.
