It may not be much to go on, but police are hoping grainy photos of three men will lead them to those responsible for setting fire to a West Island barber shop.

The Faded Kings barber shop at 2320 Herron Rd. in Dorval was set on fire on Sept. 22, 2015.

Nobody was hurt, but a cat in the neighbouring pet store died from smoke inhalation.

Police now say three men broke the window in the front door, then proceeded to pour gasoline out of jerry cans before starting a fire.

They suspect that at least one of the men may have been burned while committing arson. The video shows at least one of the men set his shoes on fire.

Police say one man was thin, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt that had stripes and detailing on the sleeves, dark pants and white sneakers.

The second suspect was of medium build, and was wearing a dark coat with a white logo on the right shoulder blade (probably reading The North Face), as well as a fishing hat, and dark pants and shoes.

The third suspect was also thin, with a hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark sneakers with a white stripe.
