A 62-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by an SUV on Park Ave. near Duluth Ave.
The collision happened around 11:25 a.m. Thursday at the busy intersection.
Police said the preliminary findings are that the driver went through a red light while heading north, and struck the pedestrian walking across the street.
She was rushed to hospital in critical condition and the driver was stopped at the scene.
