It was a perfect weekend for some music as thousands of Montrealers and tourists descended upon Parc Jean Drapeau for the annual Osheaga festival.

The three-day festival, featuring headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey and Radiohead, is in its eleventh year and its popularity among music fans shows no signs of waning.

While many felt the need to be close to the action, others decided comfort and beating the heat was more of a priority.

Of course, there's no pleasing everybody.

Some people came prepared for anything.

But if you were lucky, you got to spot a few perfect moments.

The music continues at Parc Jean Drapeau next weekend as Ilesoniq, featuring electronic dance music, takes place on Friday and Saturday and Heavy Montreal, which spotlights metal and punk, will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
