A new generation of singers has just recorded Michel Pagliaro's songs, surprising him with a hit.

The rocker – who was nominated for a Juno in 1975 – met artists like Mara Tremblay and Damien Robitaille.

It’s win-win: The artists perform hits like “Lovin’ You Ain’t Easy,” “Rainshowers,” "J'entends frapper" and “What the Hell I Got,” and those artists will bring his music to a new generation – in a whole new way.

The album is called Pag Revisité.

“When they gave me the record a couple of weeks ago, I listened to it. It was interesting. A lot of the versions were something I wasn't expecting at all. That’s what the surprise is,” said the singer-songwriter.

Pagliaro promises new original songs from his own studio sometime next year
