One of Quebec’s 10 most wanted criminals is in police custody following his arrest for a Nov. 2016 murder on Sunday morning.

Officers from the SPVM arrested Marc-Etienne Cote at 1:30 a.m. in a Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie apartment building.

According to the Surete du Quebec website, police had been looking for Cote for nine months in connection to the murder of 27-year-old Israel Gauthier-Nepton in Saguenay. Cote was considered armed and dangerous.

SQ spokesperson Aurelie Guindon said the 36-year-old Cote did not resist arrest.
