Pierre Paradis has been discharged from hospital.

The Brome-Missisquoi MNA was admitted to hospital in Montreal Friday to be treated for a concussion.

Paradis’s aide had said Paradis had fallen off a horse and suffered a "light" concussion, and so was going on sick leave until he recovered.

Meantime, 66-year-old Paradis was kicked out of the Liberal caucus and replaced as agriculture minister, after the SQ announced it had launched an investigation into a complaint against him of sexual misconduct.

No charges have been laid.

Paradis has served in the Brome-Missisquoi riding since 1980.
