A road accident in Terrebonne has claimed the life of a 51-year-old man.
The man was alone in his car Saturday afternoon, heading west on Highway 640 near des Entreprises Blvd., when he lost control.
The car crossed the median, flipped over, and landed in the left lane on the eastbound side of the highway.
The accident forced the closure of the eastbound side of the highway between Chemin Gascon and Chemin des Anglais, but it has since been re-opened.
