MONTREAL - Police are investigating after a man was found lying unconscious in Little Burgundy Wednesday evening.
"Our investigators are looking at two possibilities," said Const. Danny Richer.
The man was found on St. Jacques St. near Richmond St. where police believe he was either the victim of a hit and run, or he was attacked.
Officers did find debris from a car at the scene, and it is being analyzed, but they have not been able to rule out either possibility just yet
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and as of 7 a.m. Thursday remains in critical condition.
Police have not released his identity.
