The Quebec Transport Ministry (MTQ) is advising drivers to plan their routes before leaving on the long weekend as there will be multiple road closures due to constructions, fireworks and various Canada Day events on July 1.
July 1 is also moving day, so road users should be prepared for trucks, furniture on sidewalks and multiple tired people hauling sofas on streets and up stairs.

- On Saturday, June 29, and Sunday, June 30, as well as Monday, July 1, between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., the REM service will be unavailable due to a systems update. Buses will provide service during this during this period.
