The Habs still have some jobs to be won, but no one seems to be stepping up to take them at this point.
One game left and you can't say that on defence any one of Ryan O'Byrne, Alexandre Picard or Alex Henry has distinguished himself.
At forward, the best bet to steal a job doesn't really have a chance to do it because of finances. If Ryan White had a one-way deal, he would be a starter on opening night. However, look for Dustin Boyd, Jeff Halpern and Travis Moen to be among the many who maintain the status quo.
The Habs have only a date in Quebec City remaining against the Isles on Saturday night to get a lot of aspects of their game in shape, including an awful looking power play so far.
