The Impact's star player will be back on the pitch for Saturday's match against the LA Galaxy.

Didier Drogba was hurt in a 1-1 draw against the Philadelphia Union on Saturday May 14, but says he is now in good shape.

The 38-year-old spent part of his recovery time at his home in England, and skipped this past Saturday's match against Orlando in part because he dislikes playing on artificial turf.

Coach Mauo Biello said he had yet to confirm if Drogba would start or would play as a substitute, and would make the call later in the week.

The Impact have a 4-4-4 record, and have not won in their past six games, while the Galaxy have a 5-1-5 record

Meanwhile the Impact will be short a few players, with Laurent Ciman training in Belgium for Euro 2016 and Ambroise Oyongo in Cameroon to play for his national team.

Victora Cabrera suffered a calf injury and will also miss at least one more match.
