Ivory Coast superstar Didier Drogba will make his debut in Montreal on Saturday, the Montreal Impact has confirmed.

Drogba, 37, has been working out trying to get his shape back after wrapping up his career at Chelsea and taking two months off before signing with Montreal.

Fans had wanted his start to be last week when the club played DC United or even in the Champions League match against the Vancouver Whitecaps, but they had to wait.

This Saturday, Belgian defender Laurent Ciman will take the weekend off after returning to Europe, as Drogba plays his first MLS match against the Philadelphia Union.
