A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a car Monday evening at the entrance to Highway 25.
The boy was heading east on Perras Blvd. at 8:15 p.m. when he was hit by a car going through the intersection.
The driver stopped immediately and somebody called 9-1-1. Paramedics rushed the boy to hospital where more than 12 hours later he remained in critical condition.
Police are not saying if the bicycle had the legally-required lights, or if anyone was going through a red light.
The Surete du Quebec is still investigating.
