Police are investigating several sexual assaults that allegedly took place in the residences of Laval University.
Quebec City police spokesperson Jean Pelletier said authorities are looking into four break-ins which took place Friday night, during which two sexual assaults occurred.
He said three other break-ins occurred on Saturday, during which one more sexual assault was reported as well as two incidences of sexual touching.
Police have identified three suspected in their 20s, though they have not been arrested, nor have their identities been made public.
According to information available to police, the individuals likely did not know their victims.
Pelletier said the investigation is being done in coordination with university security services and will continue this week.
