Former deputy premier Nathalie Normandeau will be back on the airwaves this fall.
Normandeau will host a radio show on 102.1 FM, BLVD, in the Quebec City region.
The station says it will announce details about Normandeau's new job later in the month.
BLVD's program director Dan Caron said that at least three companies were pursuing Normandeau for a hosting job. He praised her on-air skills, calling her abilitities behind a microphone "magic."
"We firmly believe in the presumption of innocence," said Caron. "We don't want trial by public opinion. We'll let justice run its course."
Normandeau was charged in March with fraud and several other charges for her role in an alleged political-financing scheme.
She was suspended without pay in March from her job at a Cogeco-owned radio station, and fired in April.
Normandeau filed a lawsuit in May, and is getting financial support from supporters in the Gaspé. She is expected back in court on Aug. 29.
