A 29-year-old man appeared in Montreal court Wednesday to face 21 charges after drugs and weapons were seized at his home in the East End.
Police seized a rifle, an AK-47, a detonator, and brass knuckles, among other weapons from the apartment of David Picot, 29.
They also seized a variety of drugs ranging from marijuana, crack cocaine, speed and magic mushrooms last Friday from the man's home on Aylwin near Ste. Catherine.
Picot has no previous criminal record and was not known to police. He continues to be held in custody.
