A 48-year-old man has been arraigned on a charge of second-degree murder in Wednesday’s machete attack in a Saint-Michel home.
A 45-year-old man was found bleeding in an apartment on 51st St. near Pie IX Blvd.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead soon after.
Nguyen Van Son was arrested late Friday night and arraigned by video at the Montreal courthouse Saturday.
The murder was the third homicide of the year, two more than at the same time last year.
