Six people were hurt overnight when a bus and a minivan collided head-on on the Pie IX bridge.
The minivan was going the wrong way on the bridge at 1:30 a.m. when it smashed into the bus in a collision that closed the bridge's northbound lanes until 7:15 a.m.
The 37-year-old woman driving the minivan is in critical condition and may not survive, while five people on the bus were hurt, but not too badly.
The minivan has extensive damage to its engine block and front window while the crash damaged the front right corner of the Laval transit bus.
Police say the road was icy at the time and suspect the woman had been drinking alcohol.
