Montreal police rushed to Old Montreal overnight after someone fired a gun several times.
Witnesses told officers that around 4 a.m. a man who had been thrown out of the Somewhere Bar at 401 Notre Dame West came back with a weapon.
The gunman fired several times, not hurting anyone, and then ran off.
Police said the doorman of the bar was not being very co-operative.
Police closed the stretch between Saint Pierre and McGill while they investigated, and turned up several bullet casings.
