Montreal's arson squad is investigating a fire that damaged several cars parked at a garage in Montreal North.
Police were the first to respond when the fire started at 12:40 a.m. Monday at 10310 Armand Lavergne Ave. near Forest St.
They found five cars parked outside were burning.
Firefighters arrived soon afterwards and were able to control the flames within an hour, and prevent them from spreading to the garage and other buildings.
Three cars were damaged beyond repair, while two others were burned but not as badly.
At this point the cause of the fire is not determined.
