A fire destroyed a plumbing store in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield Monday night.
Plomberie Valleyfield located on Monseigneur Langlois Boulevard was engulfed in flames when firefighters were dispatched at 10:15 p.m.
The building is exclusively commercial. No one was on site and no one was injured, but damage to the building is considerable.
The SQ provincial police have sent an investigator Tuesday morning to determine if the fire was criminal.
Traffic was affected Tuesday morning due to water flowing into the street from firefighter hoses. The boulevard was reduced to one lane.
