MONTREAL—CTV News has been hard at work planning and preparing comprehensive coverage of Tuesday’s Quebec election, with in-depth discussion and live analysis of the results.

CTV Montreal’s Mutsumi Takahashi and Paul Karwatsky will host Elections 2012 from 8 p.m. onwards on Tuesday, with the team’s broadcast being beamed across Canada on CTV News Channel.

CTV News’ Chief Anchor Lisa LaFlamme will be in Montreal from Sept. 3 to Sept. 4, hosting on-location broadcasts for CTV National News.

The coverage will include a team of reporters live in the field and at all the major party headquarters.

Rob Lurie will be stationed at Kelly’s Pub at 88 Donegani Ave. in Pointe-Claire to get feel for the pulse of Montreal’s electorate.

Kevin Newman, host of CTV’s Question Period will be live from Ottawa monitoring the federal reaction and how the election plays out on social media.
