A 21-year-old pedestrian suffered serious head injuries when she was struck by a car early Sunday in Mile End.
The woman was crossing the street against a red light, Montreal police said, when she was hit by a car on Park Ave. near St. Viateur St. at about 12:30 a.m.
She was taken to a hospital with head trauma but her life is not in danger. The 53-year-old driver was not injured in the collision.
