Woman, 36, injured in shooting in east Montreal Monday

A 36-year-old woman showed up at a Montreal hospital Monday afternoon after she was shot in the lower body. 

The incident occurred around 2:10 p.m. in the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough.

Montreal police (SPVM) say her injuries are not life-threatening.

Police are investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the event.

No arrests have been made.
