St. Remi Street will once again be closed for several months as construction continues on the Turcot Interchange.
Transport Quebec confirmed that the street will be closed between St. Jacques St. and Notre Dame St. as of February 28. It will only reopen at the end of the summer.
That stretch of road was last closed four years ago for an extended period as preparatory work for the interchange.
This summer crews will, once again, be adjusting the intersection of St. Remi, St. Jacques and Pullman Rd., as well as building support structures for the ramp connecting the new Turcot to the displaced Ville Marie Expressway.
In April crews will begin demolishing the ramp that runs from Highway 15 North to the 720 East, and will throttle traffic coming along the ramp that runs from 15 South to the Ville Marie.
