Three cars were severely damaged in an arson attack in Park Extension early on Sunday morning.
Police said they received a call just after midnight reporting the fire on de Liege, near the intersection with L’Acadie Blvd.
Witnesses said they saw several suspects approach the parked vehicles and set them on fire. Police said it’s possible only one car was targeted and the fire spread to the other vehicles.
Police are interviewing the owners of the vehicles to see if any had been receiving threats.
Officials said they don’t believe the fire is related to last week’s fire that damaged four cars in St. Henri.
