One man was found shot inside a car and another seriously injured in a nearby home in a possible attempted murder-suicide in Pincourt Sunday afternoon.
Sûreté du Québec officers said they found the man initially injured inside the car on Impasse Hamel, and confirmed his death later in the evening.
Right now, police believe the 59-year-old man went into the house and shot the 55-year-old man, who was injured. He then returned to the car and turned the gun on himself. Police could not confirm, however, that a gun was found in the car.
The man found inside the home is expected to survive.
The SQ said the two men knew each other, but could not elaborate on their relationship.
The SQ major crimes unit is investigating.
