Quebec's forest fire agency has slightly reduced the scale of a campfire ban.
After banning outdoor fires throughout most of the province north of the St. Lawrence River on Friday, the restrictions were eased for part of Abitibi-Temiscamingue, for Saguenay Lac St. Jean, and for areas around Quebec City.
This is due to rain and cooler weather in the forecast.
The ban on all outdoor fires is still in place for all other areas marked in orange on the accompanying map.
There are only two active forest fires in Quebec, one in La Rivi which has burned 8 hectares, and a second in Pontiac which has burned just over one hectare.
So far this year only 171 hectares have been burned, while the average season sees more than 55,000 hectares burned by this point.
