A reward is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the man who attacked a woman in Cote Saint Luc last year.

On June 16, 2015, a man followed 74-year-old Faigie Adelman into the parking garage of a high rise at 6000 Cavendish Blvd.

He then struck her several times with a baseball bat, then fled with her purse.

Within a few days police released surveillance video of the attack, and a composite sketch of a man they first called "an important witness" to the crime, but are now calling the primary suspect.

The man appears to be a light-skinned black male in his early 20s, about 1.8 metres tall (5'11") with a slim build (80 kg, 175 lb), blue eyes, and dreadlocks.

Sun Youth is now offering a $5,000 reward for information about the attack.

Anyone who knows anything about the assault is asked to call Info-Crime at 514-393-1133.
