Quebec pools grapple with lifeguard shortage after pandemic pauses training

Hot, sunny weather is here, and many Montrealers are spending the long weekend cooling off in the city's pools -- but some are having trouble staying open because of staffing shortages.

In Quebec, there's an estimated shortage of about 200 lifeguards.

That means some pools have had to reduce hours, and Quebec waters are more dangerous.
