Two Montreal-area train lines will not be running over the Thanksgiving long weekend.

The Vaudreuil-Hudson line and the Deux-Montagnes lines will both be closed from Saturday Oct. 11 until Tuesday Oct. 14 while crews perform maintenance on the tracks.

Passengers who normally travel on the Vaudreuil-Hudson line will be able to board buses which will run from station to station on the regular weekend/holiday schedule.

There will not be any replacement service on the Deux-Montagnes railway.

Construction workers will also be renovating the Mount Royal tunnel to accommodate new safety measures including emergency signals, emergency walkways, and ventilation systems.
