Kevin Gould
ContactKevin Gould found his passion for journalism and writing while attending John Abbott College where he was Editor-in-Chief of the school's newspaper, Bandersnatch.
He went on to earn his BA at Concordia in Broadcast Journalism.
Having never been further west than Waterloo, Ontario, in 1997 Kevin moved to Vancouver, B.C., where he left writing for a year to work on his management skills. He handled logistics for an educational sailing expedition involving 17 ships, 200 teenagers and notable guests such as Dr. Jane Goodall and wildlife artist Robert Bateman.
In 1998 Kevin began working at what was then called VTV, later CTV-BC, and now CTV Vancouver, as a news writer and field producer. He also produced medical reports.
In 2003, he jumped at the opportunity to once again move across the continent to a place that he had never visited, New York, New York, to work for ABC News.
His skills as a fast, reliable, and hard-working journalist were recognized and he was soon moved from being a news writer to a segment producer for Good Morning America.
In 2006 Kevin returned to Montreal, Quebec and began working for CTV Montreal.
From 2010 to 2019 he worked full-time as a web reporter and website manager while continuing to use his adaptable nature to replace other positions as needed at a moment's notice.
In 2019 Kevin shifted roles and became the producer for CTV News Montreal at 5.
He speaks English and French.
