Montreal police arrested three men overnight after being led on a high-speed chase that ended with their car hitting a tree.
Officers on patrol grew suspicious of the vehicle when they spotted it at the corner of Van Horne Ave. and Outremont Ave. around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday and tried to pull it over.
Instead the driver sped off, driving west for eight blocks before bouncing off a police cruiser and slamming into a tree at the corner of Hartland Ave.
One of the people in the car suffered minor injuries in the crash, and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police are questioning the three men but have yet to recommend any charges.
