Two Hells Angels arrested in April 2009, have finally had their day in court.

Sylvain Chalifoux, 51, and Alain Durand, 48, have been sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit murder.

With time served, Chalfoux now has five years and three months remaining behind bars, while Durand will have to serve six years and three months more.

Both can apply for parole after serving half of their sentences.

The two pleaded guilty in return for a promise to drop all other possible charges against them, including murder.

About 30 of around 156 bikers arrested in 2009 have pleaded guilty to crimes.
