Family and friends of Nick Rizzuto Jr. are gathering Friday afternoon at the Complexe Funeraire Loreto in St. Leonard for the second of two visitations.
The first visitation was held Thursday evening at the funeral home, which is owned by Rizzuto's mother, Giovanna Cammalleri, and his aunt, Maria Rizzuto Renda.
Rizzuto, son of reputed mafia kingpin Vito Rizzuto, was gunned down in broad daylight on Monday in NDG.
The funeral for Nick Rizzuto Jr. is planned for Saturday at Notre Dame de la Defense church in Little Italy.
It's not yet clear whether Rizzuto's father will be at the funeral.
Vito Rizzuto is currently serving time in a Colorado prison for racketeering, related to three murders in Brooklyn in 1981.
Rizzuto would need special authorization to leave jail and cross the border in order to attend the funeral services.
It's also uncertain whether Nicolo Rizzuto Sr. -- Vito's father and Nick Jr.'s namesake -- will show up at Saturday's service.
The elder Rizzuto was arrested in arrested in 2006 on gangsterism-related charges and is currently on probation, which restricts his ability to associate with certain people.
