Conversion of Montreal seniors' residence into regular apartments paused

A judge has ordered that more than 100 seniors in a Montreal residence get an extra month-and-a-half to prove they have the right to stay.

Earlier this year, the new owner of Mont-Carmel sent out notices to tenants saying the senior's residence was being converted into a regular apartment building.
