Bernard Drainville wins support of 7th MNA in bid to become PQ leader

Bernard Drainville has picked up the support of a seventh MNA.

André Villeneuve is standing behind Drainville's bid to become the leader of the Parti Quebecois.

Last week Sylvain Gaudreault also pledged his support for Drainville, meaning Drainville and front-runner Pierre Karl Peladeau both have the support of seven PQ MNAs.

Three MNAs support candidate Alexandre Cloutier, while nobody is publicly supporting Martine Ouellet.

Pierre Ceré, the non-MNA running to become leader of the PQ, likewise has no MNAs supporting his bid.
