Bernard Drainville has gained more support for his bid to become leader of the Parti Quebecois.
This morning Drainville's team confirmed that MNA Sylvain Gaudreault is supporting the leadership candidate.
Gaudreault was Minister of Transportation and Muncipal affairs during the short-lived Pauline Marois government.
He becomes the sixth sitting MNA to support Drainville as PQ leader.
Pierre Karl Peladeau, who remains the favourite, has the support of seven MNAs, while Alexandre Cloutier can count on three.
The next PQ leadership debate will focus on environmental issues.
The Parti Quebecois will select its next leader during a convention from May 13-15, 2015.
