MONTREAL- Quebec's Jade Taillon has won a gold medal at national and international competitions, but the 15-year-old taekwondo expert won't be satisfied until she wins Olympic gold.

Taillon has been hooked on taekwondo since she was five years old.

"I think it's the adrenaline, just the feeling when I fight it's awesome," said Taillon.

More than an addict, the fighter is good. Taillon's a six time Canadian champion and she's won a pile of international medals. Wearing the red trunks at the 2011 Junior Pan Am Games, Taillon took the gold for Canada.

What sets her apart?

"I would say her determination. She's always there, always wants it, always 100 per cent," said Brandon Cyr-Gauthier, Taillon's training partner.

The fighter trains six days a week at H-L-D Kim Taekwondo in Delson.

Taillon is training hard to chase her dream.

"I would like to go to the Olympics for sure," said Taillon.

The fighter's coach expects his pupil to go far.

"She's disciplined, she's not afraid of the efforts that needs to go further you know in sport and also she has talent," said Rejan Sergerie, Taillon's coach.

Dedicated? You bet.

Guess how she spent her 15th birthday.

"Training."
