Need a family doctor? There's now a one-stop website to sign up for a waiting list.
Health Minister Gaetan Barrette said the Health Ministry will not directly handle matching Quebec residents with family doctors.
Until now each individual regional health group (CIUSSS) has been responsible for finding doctors for patients.
Barrette said this is part of the agreement worked out between doctors in Quebec and the provincial government to ensure 85 percent of the population has a family doctor by 2018.
