About 40 officers from the Ste-Therese-de-Blainville police force, supported by SQ and SPVM executed warrants Tuesday night at two different bars amid allegations of illegal gambling.
Police are targeting Friends Resto Bar and Grill on Labelle Blvd. and Cabaret Fan Club de Ste-Therese on Blainville St.
Police say they believe there are illegal poker games occurring on a regular basis there.
Police started their investigation in the summer after residents living near the bars complained.
So far there is no word on the number of arrests that have been made, if any.
