A CROP poll commissioned by the NDP suggests Justin Trudeau could be in trouble in his home riding of Papineau.

The poll shows NDP challenger and former journalist Anne Lagace Dowson has 46 per cent support, compared to 35 per cent for Trudeau.

However, the poll has a margin of error of more than five percentage points. The margin of error is a statistic that reflects the likelihood the sample accurately reflects the attitudes of an entire population.

While 375 people participated in the survey, 108,977 people live in the riding, according to Elections Canada.
