Just over a year after he was first arrested and charged with harassing others on the internet Dennis Markuze was back in court this weekend.

Police arrested the 40-year-old St. Laurent man on accusations he was violating the rules of his probation.

He appeared in court on Saturday where he was charged with making death threats--including against a police officer--and violating his parole.

Markuze was first arrested and charged in August 2011 after people complained he had been waging a social media war for decades.

Earlier this year he pleaded guilty to two counts of making death threats, and received an 18-month suspended sentence.

One of the conditions of his release was that Markuze refrain from using computers and social media, however complainants said he was repeatedly on Twitter for the past few months, sometimes creating dozens of new accounts each week.

Markuze frequently uses the alias David Mabus and some variant of 'Operation Archangel.'
