The Montreal Impact have now gone six games without a win, moving from first place to hanging on to a playoff spot in a matter of five weeks.

On top of it, their back four is getting a little thin, and will be undermanned this weekend in the back for the best offensive team in the league -- the L.A. Galaxy.

Laurent Ciman is in Europe training for the Euro 16, after being selected to play for Belgium.

Ambroise Oyongo is in Africa, after the Cameroonian defender was selected to play for the national team in two upcoming games.

Victor Cabrera is out after suffering a calf injury.

“I play well. I need to go in the same direction, I need to progress,” said Impact defender Wandrille Lefevre. “It's not enough to say okay. Every game we want to go forward.”

Head coach Mauro Biello is looking to their latest first-round draft pick out of Clemson University, the Atlantic Coast Conference defender of the year Kyle Fisher.

Biello is hoping to see him really step up in the first MLS game in his career, as he central defends with Lefevre.

“More than anything, I am excited to get a chance, to be honest. I’ve been preparing since camp and getting this chance now and using what I have learned the last few months will help the game,” said Fisher.

“What a big challenge to face L.A., but he deserves it. He works hard,” said Lefevre.

While the Impact try to figure out how to get back in the win column, they are buoyed by the return of their best player, Didier Drogba, who has come back finally from England after suffering an injury.

“He managed his way through training today to see where he could push his leg and to see how it would react, to see if he has an effect, to see how he is training,” said Biello.
