Some encouraging news for Habs' fans as prospect Michael Bournival, who was returned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs after recovering from a concussion, scored a pair of goals Friday in a 4-2 home win over the Milwaukee Admirals.

Bournival showed no signs of rust in his comeback, scoring his first on the powerplay on an assist from Nathan Beaulieu to open the scoring and later adding a goal on a penalty shot to make it 3-0.

Bournival popped the puck off the post into the net behind Admirals' netminder Marek Mazanek on the penalty shot for his third point in two games for the Bulldogs.

The speedy 21-year-old from Shawinigan played in 50 games for the Canadiens prior to his injury, scoring six goals and seven assists for 13 points before taking a stick to the chin in a game against the Vancouver Canucks on February 6. He was cleared to return March 15.

The Bulldogs, now 28-30-5, also received some solid netminding from Dustin Tokarski, who turned back 28 shots for the win.

Defenceman Greg Pateryn also notched a goal and an assist for the Bulldogs, to give him 29 points in 56 games, while the rugged Albertan Nick Tarnaski scored his 13th of the season to round out the scoring for Hamilton.
