Two blocks of Jean-Talon St. were closed Wednesday because of a gas leak.
Firefighters were having trouble locating the source of the leak and resorted to drilling holes in the pavement in an attempt to discover where the natural gas was coming from.
They expected it would take until 1 p.m. to pinpoint the leaky pipe and isolate it.
Traffic will be barred from Jean-Talon between Bloomfield Ave. and Querbes Ave. until the gas leak is found and stopped.
