A funeral will be held Friday for Cheryl Bau-Tremblay, the woman who was found killed in her Beloeil home on August 6.
Her boyfriend, Alexandre Gendron, is charged with first-degree murder.
He had reported her missing one week earlier, leading police to conduct several searches of the nearby area, including searches of the river, before the Surete du Quebec obtained a warrant to inspect his home.
That's where they located the body of the five-months pregnant Bau-Tremblay
Her funeral takes place at 10:30 a.m. at the Marc Leclerc funeral complex in St. Felicien.
Bau-Tremblay is survived by her parents Rejean Tremblay and Nicole Bau, by her sister Cydji, and by her stepson Sabby.
The family is requesting donations be made to the Mira Foundation.
